Township of Maplewood Assessment Review Form

Please complete this form if you believe that errors were made on your assessment. This will be reviewed by the Maplewood Tax Assessor's Office.

Please print or type.

1. Name of property owner(s)

2. Property Address

3. Block & lot of property

4. Day and evening telephone numbers

5. State reason(s) why you feel there is an error in your most recent assessment


6. Please attach additional sheets if needed and any supporting documentation.


Any adjustments made as the result of the above mentioned Tax Assessor review will be indicated on the annual assessment postcard which will be mailed to property owners on or about March 1, 2001.

Assessment Review Forms must be received by the Maplewood Tax Assessor Office, 574 Valley Street, by 4:30pm Wednesday, February 14th 2001.

Vic:

Unless we have the property cards from CVI, we can't make an objective decision about whether a mistake was made. Shouldn't the TC require CVI to send the cards to everyone? At my meeting with CVI, they were reluctant to even let me look at it myself and there WERE mistakes. I have no idea whether those mistakes were corrected unless I see my card. What is the status of this?

In a different conversation, "Revaluation Update -- January 26th" Vic writes, "The Township also has all the property record card data at town hall. You can stop by or contact town hall and get a copy of your property card."
