Does anyone know where I can purchase fireplace accessories other than the internet? Local store, supply house etc.?

I need a new mesh screen and a smoke guard.

Thanks

I have a lovely brass fireplace screen I'm no longer using. I think you might like it. I don't know how the private number thing works here, but if you want to see it, just let me know.

There are two places in Summit, and they're only a few blocks away from each other. The Summit Fireplace Centre 908-273-3273 and The Fireplace Place 908-273-5900. If you don't find what you want in one, you'll probably find it in the other... Good Luck

Steel yourself for some sticker-shock though - that stuff's a lot more expensive than you'd imagine!

Yes, it is expensive. My wife picked out a lovely fireplace screen decked out in antique nickel finish with tempered glass for the low, low price of $800 at the fireplace place.
