I'm a member of a neighborhood association that's trying to plan a dinner for about 40-50 people. In the past we've held them at: Reservoir (great food, too cramped) Toro Loco (good food, separate room but kind of isolated) Cryan's (great all the way around).

Does anyone have any suggestions for other restaurants in the area that could handle a group this size?

Try Bella Italia on Center Street in Orange. Turn left on Scotland Road when you get to Center Street. It's on the right hand side. Food is excellent and they have 2 rooms large enough to hold your group.

Giorgio's in South Orange has a nice large room for groups. SO Rotary meets there. We had a celebratory family luncheon there last year and it was very pleasant.
