I'm happy to welcome back Eric Schwartz to the Underground. Here's what Bill Van Sant from the News-Record had to say about him after his last appearance at the Underground: "It was an all-star lineup Saturday night at the Underground Concert series in Maplewood: the guitar playing of Arlo Guthrie, the piano artistry of Billy Joel, the social conscience of Pete Seeger, the wit of Tom Lehrer and the canny observations -- not to mention the R-rated vocabulary -- of George Carlin. " Read the full article here: http://www.undergroundconcerts.com/article_record1003.php Show takes place at the Library this Saturday night at 8pm. Here is Eric's blurb: Eric Schwartz spins tales from a tangled inner web, approaching each song as if it was its own one-man show. Refusing to be pigeonholed by form, genre, or instrument, including that of his own voice, Eric has been entertaining audiences for more than ten years in the US and abroad. Some of Eric’s music is hilarious and is at times R-rated - you may want to keep the kids at home for this one! Underground Concert Series website: http://www.undergroundconcerts.com/ |
