I need to replace a window for my sun porch which has broken. It is basically a glass window (61x34)bordered by metal and is hooked into brackets on the side. (very similar to those ancient screen windows that had to be put up every summer) I have no idea where to purchase such a thing. Does anybody out there have an experience with this sort of thing? |

If you are up to it, just remove the panel and take it to Buncher's in Millburn for replacement. Remember to wear gloves and eye protection. |

just an "IMO" -- Bunchers charges an exorbitant amount for glass and screen repairs. same panel at the glass place (in Livingston, near the post office) -- less than 1/2 the price, screen repairs even cheaper. I first went to Bunchers having been spoiled by a great hardware store in my previous town. I was shocked at the price when I picked up the items. And I certainly can't say it was service with a smile, either. Pete |

Pete, you may be right. I had them cut some glass for me and the prices did seem more than I expected. I miss Maplecrest Hardware. |

One of my window screens has a hole in it, and needs to be replaced. Can you give me the name of "the glass place (in Livingston, near the post office)"? Is this Livingston Glass? |

I could drive there -- but not sure of the name -- you park in the lot to the right of the post office, near the music store. (an I just did an anywho search -- and can't find it either) sorry -- Pete |

We have a tudor-style home with some leaded diamond-shaped glass windows, one of which is cracked. Any idea who can come and take out a pane from a leaded window and install a new one? |
