Hans Grohe. that's it, THE first and last words in high-power showers. for a cool $100, you can buy an off-the-shelf model, install in about 30 seconds, and then enjoy a high-volume shower that, frankly, feels like it might not be legal.

my husband just assumed Hans Grohe disregarded the low-flow guidelines, and that this was a high-flow model - and it was so great, he was rationalizing it to himself: "showers are part of your DAILY life, it's a real quality of life issue, we're just going to have to save water somewhere else." it's still 2.5 gpm, just feels like about 20.

please: if you're at all dissatisfied with your shower, buy one. and enjoy.

ashear, WHAT CAN I DO TO PUT YOU IN THIS SHOWER TODAY?!?!

I got the Relaxa Plus, handheld model, hoping it would fit my slide-bar. It did. Got it at Expo, $109, off the shelf, VERY FRONT ROW of the little Expo annex that is off to the right of Expo proper(facing towards Expo from the parking lot) where they keep off-the-shelf bath accessories, drawer pulls, etc.
ENJOY!

correction: My model appears to be a Monsoon. chosen in no small part because of the name.

Monsoon appears to be a line of kitchen sink hardware, not showers. The Relaxa Plus is shower heads.

We also have a Monsoon showerhead from Hans Grohe, purchased at Home Depot - works like a charm.

This thread reminds of a Seinfeld episode I saw once.
Were any of your purchases black market?

I just bought one of the ones ashear pointed to at Home Depot. Hooked up easily and works well.
