Use the one with out the holes. Make sure you have drain pitch, 3-4 inches for each 10 feet. For many reasons.   Michael K. What would be the minimal size recommended for the underground PVC lead? I could reduce it at the bottom of the downspout to make it a little easier to bury the pipe but I am not sure if I should. If you bury the pipe it looks better. If the pipe isn't seen and the pitch is ok, don't. Michael K. The point of the exercise is to get the water away from the foundation.
