Saw these 2 places driving through on way back from guiding friends to 280. West Orange or Orange, I'm not sure.

Romero's is Ecuadorian, I guess Solano is Italian.

I'm intrigued. Any experiences to relate?

Thanks and be well, all.

I think Solano is the first building in Orange. We went there once about 5 years ago. It was good, not spectacular.

But it's cool the way they have that old guy out there for valet parking and their address, 666,in big black letters on the front.

I've been to Solano's. The food is OK, nothing unique, but good. I found it smoky inside; the no-smoking section got a good amount of smoke in it.
They had a fire in the neighboring strip mall since then and have done some work (I think), so perhaps this has been rectified. It's been a while since I was there.

A wee bit closer to 280 than Solano's--couple of blocks.

Any info?

Be well, all.

Is Romero's the old Ricci's in the Valley? I haven't been down that way in a while, but I had heard Ricci was in danger of closing.
