I know someone posted about this not too long ago but since the board was revamped I haven't been able to find the post. If you're a curly-haired woman and have found someone in the area who gives you a great cut at a reasonable price (say, $30 and under), please tell me where to go! Thanks muchly... |

I am also looking for someone that can cut curly hair. I have had no luck with anyone locally. I'm very open - even someone who's more than $30....please... any suggestions???? |

Kathy at Salon Salon in Livingston is good with curly hair. She charges about $45 and often runs quite late, but I've had good luck with her early morning appointments (7:30). |

Amber at Jaxx Studio on Millburn Ave.does a great job with curly hair. I've recommended her to several friends and everyone has been pleased. Haircuts are around $30. |

I would recommend Allen at Hair Chalet in Maplewood,next to Maplecrest Park. He has cut my curly hair for twenty years. Phone is 763-2272.Cost is between 30 and 35 depending on conditioner used. |

I go to Anthony Garubo in town and am very happy with Ampy.I have thick curly hair and when I moved here two yrs ago I had a hard time finding someone who could deal with mu unruly mess! Ampy does a great job. |

I also have thick curly hair, and I go to Larisa at Anthony Garubo's salon in Maplewood village. She does a great job, and she also colors my hair. I get tons of compliments on the color. |
