Singer-Songwriter Elliot Smith, best known for his Oscar-nominated song "Miss Misery," has died, apparently by his own hand(story). His old work is still around to be enjoyed, but he'll be missed.

After reading about this I went to Amazon.com to check out some of his music. There is a button there that says, "Listen to Elliot Smith Live".

glad to see others on the board noticing that elliott passed away. if you haven't heard his music, you're missing out.

his music always made me think of what lennon and mccartney would sound like if you merged them into one artist. he will be missed.
