A National Geographic special on tonight at 8pm on PBS (Channel 13 on broadcast TV) "Inside Mecca" which shows an insider's view of the Hajj, an annual holy ritual for the Muslims. It was produced (assistant producer credit) by Anisa Mehdi, a Maplewoodian

I hear that this program is quite amazing. Because of Ms. Mehdi's Muslim roots, she was able to provide a more personal perspective of those making the Hajj.
