I know we've done this before, but I thought I'd ask again:

We are starting to design our new kitchen. I'm looking for suggestions for kitchen cabinets. We're not looking for super, top of the line, but they must be solid wood. We aren't going to have that many. In fact, if all works out, most storage will be a walk in pantry with open shelves.

That said - any recommendations on brands, places to purchase, etc.? Anyone do something recently that you regret & would change (I mean in the kitchen remodeling sense....)

We did our entire kitchen in the spring, we are very happy with our cabinets and the entire job. Private line me for more info, but feel free to call our contractor, Custom Craft, ask for Tom, (973) 839-4286. Our cabintes are by Signature. www.signaturecab.com. Custom Craft also has at least one other brand. They can do the entire job as long as it does not include expanding the existing footprint of the house.

We're doing our kitchen as well and are going with Star Mark cabinets. These are great cabinets. Go on line and take a look at their site and judge for yourself. I'm bias because we sell and install this line, but. I am putting them in my own home.
