OK, it's been a few weeks since your last opportunity to dance up a storm. Here's another: This Saturday night (2/10), the organizers of Midnight Madness are planning a dance (adults only) at the high school, complete with DJ, decorations, and snacks. Admission is $12 per person in advance, $15 at the door. For advance sale information and other details, see the Maplewoodonline Community Calendar. There's an entry for the dance in the Saturday, February 10th box. Pick the entry, get the details, then come dance for a good cause! (For more about Midnight Madness, read the details in the calendar entry)

You can get to the Community Calendar from my previous post from the phrase "Community Calendar." I don't understand why it doesn't show up in a different color, but it is a link.

Oops, I just realized that it probably is showing up in a different color - it's just that I visited the link from my own post and I'm not seeing the link color. Oh, well.

Reporting back from the Midnight Madness Adult Dance: It was a blast! Well over 100 people danced, ate, and had fun. The DJ was great, the food was plentiful, and the decorations made us forget we were in a high school cafeteria. This could definitely become a tradition. Keep an eye out for this event next year - you don't have to be a high school parent to attend.

Have to add my 2 cents. It was great. They were sevral couples there who ween't senior parents, some with no kids at all and people alone cause their signicant other didn't want to have a good time. It was so much fun that even my rythmically challenged husband danced almost every dance. Can't wait till next year!
