I just wanted to thank the person who was driving a small black car (possibly a Maxima or Nissan)down Maplewood Ave this morning around 10:20 a.m. They were headed toward the village. This SOB drove right through a huge puddle getting me drenched. The sad part is...they sort of slowed down, which tells me that knew what they had done. To that person: I hope you have water problems follow you throughout your life!!!!!! Leaky pipes, flooded basement, whatever!!!!! Let the water shed on you. |

Well, of course it wasn't me... I was driving my Mercedes today. Anyway, I already have leaky pipes and a flooded basement! |

Well, OK, it was me. I was trying to run EVERYONE over. I figured it would be cheaper living in prison than ALL OF A SUDDEN paying double my taxes. Regarding basements, the ASSessed DEN in my basement has a concrete floor, a peephole window, and low exposed pipes which cause head concussions to anyone who bravely ventures in there. But it's considered living space, like the van down by the river. And I'm not even contesting the Amazonian spiders that inhabit this basement DEN. Yikes. |

I think you need to start charging those spiders RENT, Mem. Who do they think they are? And are they trying to enroll in our schools? (Oh, wait, are they related to Spiderman? Please don't tell him I said you should charge rent!!) Bacata |

Bac - Great idea! How much should I charge per spider? I thought about spraying them with raid, but I couldn't live with the guilt of killing them . And yes, they are enrolled in our schools, all 1,527 of them. |

Mem: Well, since they're costing you an arm and a leg, I think you should charge by the leg. Of course, if you're really running a lace curtain factory in your basement and you've imported illegal spiders from South America to do the detail work....maybe you should think twice about any Raids, chemical or otherwise. Do you live near Springfield Ave? Could this business be counted as a new enterprise in the SID? Ooops, there go the taxes again. Bacata |

Bacata: I went away on another dreadful business trip, when I got back, the spiders had wrecked the joint. This time, I had no qualms about using the raid. Guilt be gone, they were taking up too much room in the school system, as well as causing airplane noise with the web spinning. Will this lower my taxes? |

Probably not, you've actually improved the property by getting rid of them! Sorry, Mem. You really can't win. The game is rigged. The spiders' spawn will come back immune to Raid and they will want revenge. I'd get a disguise. Or a good recipe for spider stew. Bacata |

Yum Yum eat 'em up... spider stew diet, and cost effective as well. Go ahead and raise the taxes, I'm eating cheap. |
