Hi- I'm a local potter (non professional at the moment) who has been renting studio space in bklyn. Just bought a wheel and electric kiln for home. Seeking other local potters for informal discussions, get togethers. Would love help/advice on firing (I'm a kiln novice.) Also would be willing to fire other's work for share in the cost of t}}he electricity Please reach out! |

I'm a non professional potter looking for a studio space that is local. I need more experience mixing glazes and using the kiln. Am planning to purchase a wheel next spring since there are no studios nearby--would love to share a kiln. |

I have passed on word of this thread to a friend and neighbor who is a potter with a studio and kiln. She may still give lessons also. |

amiegoad -- I used to use a studio in Chelsea, but haven't done it for years. However, I have several pieces that I have yet to glaze and fire and would love it if I could share your kiln with you! |

Hi Colleen, Kathy and KLorenzo -- So excited to hear from other potters! I've put out emails to each of you, would love to chat further. Pass the word to any other potter friends and maybe we can do some group glazing and firing. Best- Amie amiegoad@aol.com |

What a great idea!! A friend and I are going to be getting a kiln very soon to share. I think it would be fantastic to be involved in a SOMA potters group! Cami slfstudio@earthlink.net |
