The rear section of our home is supported by a column made out of bricks. It seems that water has gotten into the bricks, froze, and expanded the bricks to the point that it has cracked and is losing pieces. It is beyond the "point" of repointing.

I need someone to come and take a look at it and replace it. This person will have to support that section of the house while they re-do it. Does anyone have any suggestions on who I could approach? Thanks for your help.

I would go with Jackie. I saw some of his work in the Catskills, and a job he did for a casino in Atlantic City, and it was very craftsmanlike, and obviously it will stand the test of time.

We used Avellino as well. Would definitely recommend him.
