I know that people have given their opinions of Jim Vogel in the past, but I am thinking of hiring him to finish my basement, so I was wondering if anyone has had a more recent experience with him. Specifically, does he stay within his estimate? does he start and complete the job on schedule? How was the quality of the work?

Jim is doing our kitchen and porch renovation. I would be glad to talk to you about it when the job is completed. Contract says by the middle of December, if you can wait until then.
