Just want to put in a plug for the CHS Parnassian Society's production of The Laramie Project. Beautifully acted and very moving. Also long (over 2 1/2 hours) and not for children, but definitely worth seeing. Tomorrow night and Saturday night in the CHS auditorium. Admission is $8 (I think $6 for students).
It has traditionally been difficult to get in to Parnassian productions because the Black Box Theater was very small (seated 60 or so). But while a new theater is under construction, this performance is in the auditorium so there's room for everyone. I'd say there were a couple of hundred people there even on a Thursday night. |

Saw the play tonite and it was wonderfully done. A powerful work and a very professional production. Go see The Laramie Project on Sat night. |
