If you are interested in reading your poetry or a short piece of original writing in a public forum, check out the calendar for November 24. Hurry, limited time and space. Sponsored by Authors Anonymous(Maplewood Library's writers group), NetNomads Cafe, 1883 Springfield Ave. 7:30-9PM. Hoping to make this a regular thing. Questions anyone? R

I am all for any type of creative expression and am happy we have outlets for this in SOM. That being said, I did attend an open poetry mike at the Dancing Goat recently. I thought overall the level of the poetry was pretty good but what was with the guy in the corner snapping his fingers instead of clapping ?. Truthfully I had a hard time being polite and not cracking up. I was about to go home and get some bongo's and a beret but I thought better of it.

MAYNARD G KREBS LIVES !!!!
