I just replaced old cabinet hinges with new ones. Same exact size. In fact, I used the same holes to put them on. Now the cabinets don't close properly, they pop back open. I'm going to try another hinge to see if that's the problem. Anyone have any other thoughts?

It could be that the cabinets are not quite aligned. Check them with a level. You may want to deliberately tilt them one way or the other while the screws are loose. Then tighten them.

Also may want to consider using different holes.

That happened to me once and I loosened up the screws a little. After that the doors were fine. Maybe that will work for you.
