Does anyone know where I can purchase so-called "green" insulation locally (i.e. insulation made of recycled, treated denim). Thanks.

Hey Michael McKell,

I apologize for the thread robbery, but I wanted to reach you.

I am looking for a local millworker to build
very SIMPLE kitchen cabinets. My husband and I are architects (newly transplanted from the city).
Our budget is modest.

Any thoughts?

Slowdog, I've used such a product in my own home, and it is AWESOME and such a pleasure to work with, compared to fiberglass. No goggles, masks, or gloves required... you can just stuff it into any space and tear it to size by hand. Also, it blocks sound slightly better. I got it from a company called E.C.O. in NY... I can track down their number if you want it.

In fact, what I used is the same product shown at Michael's link -- Bonded Logic Insulation. Again, it is a great product.
