If anyone is looking for a general contractor, I would recommend DRS (Disaster Restoration Services -- don't let the name scare you!). They did some insurance claim work for me -- mostly minor water damage to walls and ceilings, interior painting, skylight framing. They were well priced, prompt, courteous. Their work was good, and they stand behind it. Steve Sklar was the person who supervised and did much of the work. You can reach him at (800) 815-7188.

Unfortunately, I just called DRS today, and they're not taking on any new work. :-(
