we need a humidifier in a couple of rooms. When I tried straight tap water the room became covered in a white powder. Buying gallons of distilled water works, but is pricey over the course of the entire winter. Is there some kind of water additive that I can add to my humidifier that would demineralize the water in it? thanks |

Call an HVAC company and ask them for a supplier. Michael K. Mc Kell

Wouldn't a reverse osmosis water filter (the kind that has tanks) remove most of the mineral content? ... Richard (ROC) --Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic.-- --AIM: ROConn |
