I know alot of downtrodden taxpayers and parents who took off this week because of school break. So how come the TC picked this very week to pass the reval? Could have accounted for the relatively poor turnout Wednesday night. Throwing a wrench into the sound system helped out too for the stay-at-homers. Just a paranoid thought. |

Mtierney: Make that two possible paranoids. Someone suggested on another post that the sound system (Wednesday night) might have suffered because the Columbia H.S. students who handle that for the TC were on vacation....strangely though it seemed to work just fine on Tuesday night! |

Gee, I didn't have any trouble hearing the meeting. I guess all those years of listening to barely audible BOE meetings paid off--it must have systematically retrained my hearing (of course hearing everything else is now a problem). |

Jennie: If you didn't have any trouble hearing the meeting on tv then you were the only one. The sound was absolutely inaudible. I regret being unable to attend in person. Especially since it appears there were most notable and memorable quotes to this lunacy. |
