If any of you with access to a TV or radio hear an update on the midtown direct could you post the info here? The NJTransit phone number is busy and the website doesn't seem to have the info. It wasn't running this am, and I'd love a heads up if I should be going to Penn Station or through Hoboken later on. Thanks! |

The midtown direct trains are running through Hoboken, so there are really no direct trains to NY. I was told there is some sort of electrical problem in Penn Station. |

Thanks, Hismom. Any word on if the problem is expected to be fixed by evening rush hour? |

Phyllis, check out www.njtransit.com. Then click on 'Travel Advisory.' You'll get the most complete info there. It does discuss the Midtown Direct. |

Channel 7 just said that the midtown direct is diverted to Hoboken, most likely until tomorrow morning, due to icing problems closing a track into NYP. |

On the 3:41 PM train from Hoboken, the crew announced that there would be no Mid Town Direct trains going to Penn Station today or tomorrow but this could have changed by now with the reduced storm forcast. |
