With the "beasts" of the Big East going down yesterday, SHU's chances have certainly improved.
Notre Dame, Georgetown, Providence, Syracuse, Boston College - they're already going. A Big East win doesn't do much for their NCAA pairings. All it would do is tire them out before the big dance. So why not let another Big East Team in? The whole conference benefits financially if another team makes it.
