Dave - I noticed today that the "messages posted after(day/time)" option has returned to the New Messages screen as has been requested by a number of posters. Upon entering that screen, the "Messages since I last checked" option has the radio button filled in by default. However, when I filled in my Username and Password in that top section, the radio button automatically moved to the other section. Can you fix this?

Another thing Dave: If you use this feature there's now way (other than going through the file system to delete it) to get rid of the cookie. In fact, I think that cookie changes the default posting credentials. Maybe there's a way to fix that.

Sac, radio button problem is fixed now. Thanks for pointing it out.

Lseltzer: I think it the message board script will only set cookies if it's switched on under your options in "edit profile" (it saves your username/password so you don't have to keep entering it). The survey does set a cookie. If you're finding some specific weirdness in posting credentials, please let me know.

I think you're right about the profile, but it looks to me like the "Remember my username and password in a cookie" setting is on by default.

I don't think it remembers them from a regular posting, but it does if you use your username and password in the new messages feature and don't check the "don't remember" box.

Well ... almost fixed. If you check off the "don't remember this check" option it moves the radio button again. I think it was doing that on "password" before so it has moved down one now.

Thanks!

Well, it was bound to happen again.

The New Message function (search by date) really gives the server a pounding, so down it comes (again). The load on our the server was at 1500% capacity this afternoon, so that's that.

%sigh%
