Any suggestions for where a family of four can stay for 8 weeks (locally) this summer? I'm looking for something like Embassy Suites.... with kitchenette, living suite, maybe pool? |

Depending on if by local you mean - *in* Maplewood/South Orange, I'm not sure what's available... there are no hotels in Maplewood/SO, just a B & B.
There is Courtyard by Marriott on Route 10 in East Hanover, about 8 miles from Maplewood. There is also Homestead Guest Studios, on Route 10 E in Whippany (about 10 miles from Maplewood). Also there are Summerfield Suites in Morristown and Whippany. |

There is a Summerfield Suites on Rte. 22 in Bridgewater as well. Taking 78 West to 287 South to 22 is about half an hour from Maplewood (its my daily commute). ALso, the Summerfield Suites Hotels participate in the online hotel rate wars. Go to frommers.com & find the link- the prices there are substantially lower than published, AAA, etc. rates. |
