On Monday evening our black and white cat got out of our house on Highland Ave (near Parker). Her name is Boo Radley, she is 6 yrs, about 10 pounds and is black/white. She is strictly an indoor cat, but has all her claws. Unfortunately, she does not have tags or a collar. Please keep your eye out for her ;(. Call 762-4694 if you see her (grab her first!). Thanks. |

Found her! A little scared, a little cold, and a little hungry but a-ok. Thanks. |

I recently went through a similar situation. Boy, it's scary for both human and animal. When I mentioned the incident to my vet, Dr. Levine, he said that a cat owner really shouldn't worry for at least 10 days or so, because more often than not, they come home by then. Even so, with the traffic and the looneys out there, it's hard not to be frantic. I'm glad shes home. Give her a hug for me. |

I am really happy you found your cat!! I have three house cats and one runs out every chance he gets. But the sound of the traffic spooks him and so far he has always turned around and run right back in. |

I have an indoor cat who constantly gets into trouble- running out the door is one of her favorite things. She wears a collar with a bell so that we can hear what she is up to. The only time she has gotten out is when my brother propped the basement door open to remove garbage & we didn't know he had done it. The only thing is to remember to tell houseguests and contractors that the cat is not allowed out. Sometimes they see her at the door crying, wearing a bell and assume she can go out. |

Oh, I am so happy she was found. My indoor cat is always running out and I am petrified that she'll not come back and have a racoon-run-in. Nice to hear a happy ending. |
