I am not sure that this doesn't raise more questions than it answers. During the contested "Alabama" period Bush served nine days.

From friends who were in the guard during that period the usual obligation was one night a week (paid for a full day btw), one weekend a month and two weeks summer camp. For the math impaired that is 90 days per year.
