Is there a bulk refuse day coming up? My garage is FULL of stuff that I need to get rid of. I live on Claremont bet. Ridgewood and Wyoming.... I also have a ton of recycling that I haven't had time to break down (boxes), clean out (plastic/glass) etc. Is there somewhere I can bring all of this, or an upcoming pickup day? Where can I get schedules of all this? Thanks. |

Yes, we're in the bulk refuse period. Maps were mailed about 4-6 weeks ago. I'm sure someone can tell you when your day is; if not, I'll check mine tonight when I get home.
I'm not sure they'll take your boxes, though, unless they are broken up. |

Deborahhq, according to the winter/spring 2001 bulk refuse program your bulk refuse day is Thursday, March 12 (you're in area 12 for this and other collection purposes.) You need to get all your stuff on the curb no later than 6am that morning and could put it out anytime after 5pm the night before. I suggest you call the public works center (762-1175) or the Town to get a schedule since there are important instructions about what can and can't be put out. Also there is information about the municipal garden debris program as well. |
