Young, telegenic Southern candidate with passionate views and immediate connection with voters (if not a policy wonk) at the top of the ticket, with a more experienced, veteran, eminence gris at his side (not unlike what Cheney provided for Bush).

I'd love to see Edwards debate Bush, and Kerry would give Cheney a good run for his money (which is something both have in spades).

I believe Clark is dropping out of the race. One school of thought is that he and Edwards are splitting the southern vote. If Edwards picks up all or most of the Clark vote, he will be a lot closer to catching Kerry in the primaries south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Personally I am not sure that he will pick up more than half the Clark voters.

I still think Edwards is really campaigning for the Vice President spot on the ticket, although he denies this. Assuming a Kerry/Edwards victory in eight years he will have the right experience and be at the right age to be a viable candidate.

Democrats, beware! Al Gore has vowed to support whichever candidate you nominate.

Cowbody lives in a world without a timeline. Cowboy, Al Gore was 2000. You have perhaps noticed that he lacks the clout to sway voters in 2004. So, I hate to ruin you fantasy, but this campaign isn't going to be against Al or Bill or Hillary.

Never been a big Gore fan, but it was horrible how he lost the popular vote 55-45 back in 2000. :-)

Al Gore can sway voters, look at how many he drove away from Dean
