But won't their children get the same benefit from their children 30-odd years down the road? Or is Jesus coming back that soon?

The only way their kids will get the 'same' benefit is either by paying more than their parents did for it (and then their kids even more than that) or the government prints a ton of money.

Is there any reason to expect a continually shrinking population from generation to generation -- something that by the way hasn't happened since the Black Plague -- and an end to working-age immigrants?
