(SLK imitating Tulip)

Golf Sucks! You can easily use your 3 wood to smack some baby seals around and a wrong slice could easily take someone's eye out!

Oh, and all that walking and driving around on poor grass...it has rights too you know! And isn't that negatively affecting the ecosysytem which will cuase even more global warming? Run, run for your lives, CAT 5 hurricane sighted at the 6 hole!!!! Get all the women, children and minorities out first!!!!

What, there are none to be found!!! Oh yes, I forgot, mainly corporate white men play this game. So you have entire golf courses full of mysgosintic, racist capitalistic pigs who are probably Republican/Cons/Dubya Supporters all across the country! Martha Burk, where are you to deal with this grave injustice!!!!!

Evil! Evil! Evil!

Sorry-we are all allowed to be silly now then, no? :-)

PS-I wish I could of wrote what I really wanted in regards to the 3 Wood but I felt definite "MOL jailtime" crashing down on me if I did....

Scrotis, You remind me of the old fogies I used to meet in the sixties who hated any change of any kind. You are an old fogie who doesn't want to face certainr realities that are upon you. You advocate a Pollyanna approach to the world. I wouldn't still be kicking here if I didn't have an underlying faith in humanity and the strength of the universe to continue. I don't, however, have faith in the "leadership" of this country, as you seem to have, and I don't like what they are doing.

You are a joke, and there has been no consistency to your posts since you came on this scene. Meand... you are being led astray. Take some nice landscape photos, please.

Tulip-

Struck a nerve have I? Mission accomplished...

And you remind me of all those loser hippies and hipster artsy types I hung out in college that did nothing but whine, complain, bitch and moan about everything (while there parents were paying for everything) but never had the balls to do anything about it...

As I said in previous post....Start a Revolution or Shutup....

And I am only a joke to you because you don't agree with me, that's all....right, diversity champ?

-SLK

PS-I don't like golf myself....

Excuse me, you have skimmed the tip, but my nerves are in tact, thank you.

I don't disagree with you, sweety. I have no idea what you stand for. I just don't like your attack dog behavior. What was it you believe in?
You keep writing, but you can't get it down, can you?

PS: my parents paid for college, but I worked my way through grad school.

Oh, I just noticed "diversity champ" as an epithet you cast at me.
Does this mean you are a racial purist? What gives? What do you believe in?

Yup its been golf weather, for sure. I spent 13 years in the Bizz, 8 as an assistant G.C. Superintendent.

I hated seeing carts out in the winter, its very bad for the soil structure. Repeated freezing and thawing are wonderfull for soil structure, especially late in the winter, as spring approaches.

So sbenois , where did you play?

SLK, 3 wood eh, I gave up my woods, I'm not consistant with them. I do far better hitting fairways with a 1 iron.

Scrotis, I am nearly twice your age. I have no idea what you are talking/writing about.

So what do you think of the lifting of OSHA restrictions on mines in the US, the refusal of George Bush to join the Kyoto Accords, isolationism in the US and government spying on American citizens?

Anything?

1) I start a thread in response to Southerner's constant attacks on, ironically, liberals.

2) I don't mention you at all

3) The entire body of my text in this thread is "and lunch sure was good"

4) You respond with "and sbenois, please do me a favor and go play golf. It's a good place for stout, hearty Republicans who like to laugh a lot and play at frat party."

Whatever.

So...what do you guys think about the lifting of restrictions on OSHA, global warming, the refusal to participate in the Kyoto Accords, the spying on American citizens, the bombing of women and children in Pakistan, the refusal to airlift frozen children in the mountains of Pakistan, the inability of our government to house people months after Katrina, the fact that trailers are empty when people are homeless, the attack on Iraq when Bin Laden is wandering around...? Anything?

OK, scrot, but what does golf have to do with geopolitics? And if someone's tying it into another thread, at least say so at first, so people just coming in can figure out what the reference is.
So what do you think of geopolitical issues, since this is a geopolitical part of the board?

Is "DBS" that "Deranged Bush Syndrome" you referred to in another thread earlier today?

Did you mean to refer to what some supporters of the Administration call "Bush Derangement Syndrome"?

Or is "DBS" some sort of "woman thing" you invented as an alternate form of insult? Just wondering ...

And yes, it was a beautiful day for golf, but I did not have a hot dog for lunch.

Great topic. I have to say that the liberal states have some great golf courses and I love the weather up there. You can play a nice round without coming off the 18th green soaking wet. Down here in hickland it is so humid your soaked by the 3rd hole and have to change shirts a time or two. I have to give credit where credit is due and you libs sure know how to have nice golf weather. Congrats on your success.
