I am not sure whether to be more disappointed in Paul or angry at Reid and Schumer for pressuring him to withdraw. Yes, all Dems. are not wonderful but the most disappointing two I can think of are Lieberman and Schumer. Schumer lost my support after viewing the D.V.D., "Waco, Terms of Engagement." It was disgusting, having to watch Schumer at the committee hearings trying to defend Reno and the F.B.I. Lieberman is just a lost cause. Hackett's withdrawal is similar to the way things played out in the N.J. governor election. I supported Cody but didn't get to vote for him. --Money talks, ^*%#walks. So much for democracy.

I'm frustrated, too. But Hackett was his own worst enemy, and his behavior on the stump made him pretty uncertain. The most important issue for dems in Ohio is to beat Dewine. I would have liked to see Hackett in the Senate, but I'm in NJ--- and from what I hear, Brown has a pretty good chance of winning. But Codey is a whole nother thing. I don't know why Corzine couldn't stay in the Senate and leave Codey in place. |

What was wrong with the FBI's handling of Waco? They didn't start the fire. |

Hey -- just some weird Christian snake-handlers getting torched. WTF??!? You know how they are. And besides, Clinton said it was Reno's fault. |
