I hear the Judicial Branch is sending the GOP a special commemorative plaque to thank them for all the business.

Be careful what you wish for. October may bring Tom DeLay on trial!

I'm not real concerned with the voters of Texas turning Democrat. Let's see how well Dean and company can turn this election into a national referendum. Newt and the boys did it against Clinton in 94. This will be a real good gauge on Deans logistical abilities. If the Repubs can keep it local in nature then they will win. If the Dems make it national then they have a chance to take back Congress. I give them about a 1 in 5 chance of taking back Congress. This isn't a partisan shot but when you look at the board there really aren't that many contested races. The Dems would basically need to sweep every race that is still up in the air. I don't see that happening.

Since 10/05, I have so far learned on these MOL political threads that:

1. The only corrupt politicans are Republicans.
2. Only Republicans lie.
2. Fox New is the only biased media outlet
3. Democrats/libs are physically and mentally incapable of ever engaging in scaremongering and profiling, only Republican/cons are.
4. The Democrats are strong on National Security because they oppose one single port deal.
5. The Dems/libs are all for protecting my civil liberties only if I don't say anything to offend anyone, don't own own a gun and that I abandon state rights while offering my loyalty to federal authority.

Hmmm, anything else...?

6. Oh yeah, AGW is my fault (or Dubya's) and we are doomed (and don't you dare question it bub!).
7. Dubya should of done wonders with bags of quickcrete in NO the night before Katrina's arrival.
8. Abortion and Gay Marriage are constitutionally protected rights.
9. RL is sure witty!
10. Catholics need not apply to SC positions.
11. Poor people forgot to learn how to walk and are not responsible for anything they do...
12. Democracy is ok as long as we don't assist others to achieve it....
