I love this line: Quote:"We will invite him again because the religion of Islam is one of tolerance. We will ask him if he has changed his mind. If so we will forgive him," the judge told the BBC on Monday.
Yes, Islam is tolerant, so we will let him reconsider whether he wants to renounce his chosen religion or be put to death. |

"Trial judge Ansarullah Mawlazezadah told the BBC that Mr Rahman, 41, would be asked to reconsider his conversion, which he made while working for a Christian aid group in Pakistan." Ansarullah Mawlazezadah, eh. Quite a name! It sounds like a suitcase falling down a flight of stairs. So we have him and his ilk in Afghanistan and we have Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell on this side of the world. The A answer is to dispense with such representatives of organized religion wherever they are. They're an ill wind that blows nobody good. |
