But Wm F. Buckley still has a way with words - Quote:"Mr. Bush is in the hands of a fortune that will be unremitting on the point of Iraq," Buckley said in an interview that will air on Bloomberg Television this weekend. "If he'd invented the Bill of Rights it wouldn't get him out of his jam."

Quote:George W. Bush's presidency will be judged entirely by the outcome of a war in Iraq that is now a failure.
Oh god I hope not. I hope they remember him for being an idiot who could barely put to words together. I hope they remember him for running his administration and leading his party like Boss Tweed. I hope they remember how ineffectual he was as 9/11 was happening (as he sat there reading his books to school children) rather than coming to our countries aid. I hope he is remembered for his lack of strength to help his country when it was in great need as Katrina had struck. I hope they remember that he decieved his countrymen into believing that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction to create a war. I hope that they remember that he passed that grotesque abomination called the Patriot act to steal it's citizens rights. I hope they remember how he uneccessarily spied on his citizens. I hope they remember that he nearly bankrupt our country with an uneccessary war, and that Social Security wasn't to blame. Iraq, that's just a post script, IMO. |

``The neoconservative hubris, which sort of assigns to America some kind of geo-strategic responsibility for maximizing democracy, overstretches the resources of a free country,'' Buckley said. |

Nohero, I don't know what to tell you. I don't think Sailer is a bigot, but he does explore some issues that are usually left alone. I think he is a pretty interesting writer, but he can come across a bit reductionist at times. Biology doesn't explain everything. Maybe you would like his movie reviews? http://www.isteve.com/FilmReviews.htm Whatever you do, don't miss Thank You For Smoking. Cheers
