It might as well say Fox sucks least, though.

Quote:

Asked to name the news source they most trusted, without any prompting, 59 percent of Egyptians said Al Jazeera, 52 percent of Brazilians said Rede Globo, 32 percent of Britons said the BBC, 22 percent of Germans said ARD and 11 percent of Americans said Fox News, each leading their respective nations.

11% for the most trusted news source. Sad. Very sad. but the news media dug their own hole.

so right factvsfiction.

We Americans, unlike the Euroweenies, think for ourselves. I don't need any news media to dispense their "facts" to me. I believe what the president says, and I don't need some liberal media to "interpret" what he's saying for me. I know what I know and I believe what I believe, just like our president, and I don't need anything more.

FvF, it's not a question of thinking for oneself. It's a question of trusting the source of information. The MOST trusted source of news only garnered 11% "approval."

Yeah,
And a President with a 32% approval recently won re-election. You libs can't even win against a man who only 1 in 3 like. What does that say about you?

Rastro, most people who work for the media are human. Hence they have preferences and biases. Why should one trust their writen view or appraisal of facts? The more reporting I read the more I see the opinion of the writer worked in, or the political leanings of the paper or media organization. The aim web site is a great read in this regard.

Didn't the Russians used to say, " do not trust, verify?"

Boogie-

Didn't Reagan get it from a Russian proverb? Wasn't that the point of him using it in connection with the Russians? Guess I will have to remember the article source now (sigh).

FvF, as Dr. O asked, where do you get your information? Do you trust them?

Again, I just find it amazing that the MOST trusted source of news could only garner an 11% level of trust. It's not a matter of what the source is, it's the level of trust (or lack thereof) that I find amazing.

Rastro-

Michael Moore, Susan Sarandon, Harry Belafonte, and Howard Dean stop by and shoot the breeze, of course.

I hope the News Record knows not to make you a part of their own "trust" survey by any p.r. firm.

Don't you know, in the immortal words of Livia from the excellent " I Claudius" BBC production:

"Trust No One."

Relax Rastro, to paraphrase Sally Field " You like me, you actually like me".

It's mutual.
