We just had a pretty impressive military exercise bringing down a missile just before it reached its target. Check it out. I hope we never need to use this capability, but it's pretty cool to have it. |

...I'll tell you what really would be pretty cool. After we bring their missle down, we send ours right back to where theirs came from! They have to understand that turn around is fair play! You send one to us, we'll send one hundred of ours right back to you... |

Interesting, but a lot of these tests are rigged. Keep an eye out for follow-up stories in the coming weeks, especially in pubs like Jane's Defence Weekly. |

NK and Iran have been doing exactly this sort of thing quite a bit lately, and who knows if their tests are fully legit? I have no doubt that they would fake their results if they thought it would serve a purpose, but I am inclined to think that we are demonstrating genuine capabilities with our exercises. When our tests fail it seems that everybody knows, so I'm thinking that this one is the real deal. |

Was that the test where the target emits a RF broadcast for the Homing missle to follow? Like the other tests in ALaska? Where the target gets hit about 65% of the time. If you cant hit a target that is broadcasting out in the open...... 100% of the time, Generals tend to ask for cancellation of said program. When Patriot missles bring down our own f-16's, there is something wrong, especially after 20 years of development. |
