You've got the AP openly dreaming for and " Democrats Eying a November Landslide" compared with articles that say the Senate may go Republican in 1994 and there's a 30% chance that the House will go Republican for the first time in 40 years. The Senate had gone Republican in 1986 and the real issue or accomplishment was if the House would fall. At no point does any writer appear optimistic for a GOP victory in the House nor does the possibility of one on the scale of 1994 come across as anything but a hope. No one -- especially in the media -- hoped for or even thought of "Eying a Landslide" in 1994 much less wrote about it.

Media Matter comes up short.

One article using the word "landslide" vs. EIGHT articles talking about the impending Republican takeover. Yeah, they came up real short.

cjc would only be satisfied if MM had uncovered the exact same article from 1994 with the word "Republican" in place of "Democrat." Anything else is bias, plain and simple!
