http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html

You'll be asked just 10 questions, and then it instantly tells you
where you stand politically. It shows your position as a red dot on a "political map" so you'll see exactly where you score.

The most interesting thing about the Quiz is that it goes beyond the Democrat, Republican, Independent. The Quiz has gotten a lot of praise. The Washington Post said it has "gained respect as a valid measure of a person's political leanings." The Fraser Institute said it's "a fast, fun, and accurate assessment of a person's overall political views." Suite University said it is the "most concise and accurate political quiz out there."

While it is pretty clear where all of us MOLers stand on political matters, please take this interesting quiz and let me/us know your results.

Accurate assessment? With 10 questions - 5 personal, and 5 economic? You've got to be kidding.

the only way to be a Centrist is to answer "maybe" to most of the questions. Ridiculous.

Gotta agree with Rastro - Ten questions are not enough.

Rastro-

I retract my last post. I agree that 10 question are not enough and some of them are worded strangely. Just thought we all would have some fun.

It was fun. The fun comes when we pause to consider where to and why to check a particular dot.

Thanx, SLK

For those questions you are "iffy" about where to check off, you can "back arrow" and make a different choice, in order to see how that changes your rating.

Through several variations, I range from that lower corner where Liberal and Centrist meet, to the area on the right-hand side of the Liberal zone.

There is something wrong with this quiz. I am rated as a centrist. I usually fall between arch-conservative and anarchist on things like this. Maybe they should ask a few questions about Muslims, immigration and profiling to balance things out.
Cheers

What's ridiculous about a centrist answering "maybe"?

Hoops -- technically I'm not able to do that. I basically use the computer as a word processer. I scored 90 on 'economic issues' and 40 on 'personal issues' making me a conservative.
