I have only one bone to pick with the author of that piece. He says:
Quote:The president just had the best week of his second term, perhaps of his entire presidency
I have to disagree. He's had many, many, better weeks than this one. There was the week his approval hit an all-time high of 90%. There was the week the glorious war in Iraq began, and set in motion the winds of freedom. There was the day that combat operations ended successfully. There were all those weeks when the Iraqis held elections. Then there were all those weeks when we turned yet another corner in Iraq, like when Saddam was captured, when the Iraqis raised purple fingers in salute to the U.S., when we secured Fallujah, and then we secured it again. There was the week my president served turkey to the grateful troops in Baghdad. The list is endless. This is just the latest in what have been a multitude of great weeks for this president. |

Hooray for President Bush! He sat there on 9/11 like a lobotomized gimp without taking any action whatsoever after being told "America is under attack." What a super guy! He refuses to acknowledge global warming or even evolution! What a leader! He boldly leads his administration way beyond the law on a regular basis! What a person for the likes of Straw to look up to! |

"What a person for the likes of Straw to look up to!" Not nice notehead. That's as far as the strawman can see! Does he wears sunglasses, by any chance? Carry a white cane? |

Nothing to lose? I'm a proud American citizen, SLK. I and every other person who truly supports democracy and capitalism have a LOT to lose and have already lost a lot with this idiot and his cronies running things.
