Someone please give me a rational explanation how this madman is not at the top of the list of priorities for the CIA, FBI, NSA and all of our military units. Didnt Bush promise us all that

Quote:

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."
- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01

"I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"
- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI

"...Secondly, he is not escaping us. This is a guy, who, three months ago, was in control of a county [sic]. Now he's maybe in control of a cave. He's on the run. Listen, a while ago I said to the American people, our objective is more than bin Laden. But one of the things for certain is we're going to get him running and keep him running, and bring him to justice. And that's what's happening. He's on the run, if he's running at all. So we don't know whether he's in cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open -- we just don't know...."
- Bush, in remarks in a Press Availablity with the Press Travel Pool,
The Prairie Chapel Ranch, Crawford TX, 12/28/01, as reported on
official White House site

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

Why did this priority change in this short time? If every newscast talks about Al Qaida this and Al Qaeda that and whenever a new video tape is show on AL Jazeera its news for days, then what the fcuk is going on?

This guy is responsible for 9-11.

All of a sudden there are more important priorites and Al Qaida is no longer a major threat? Isnt Bin Laden still rich and doesnt Saudi money still fund this whole thing?

Next thing you know .. you'll tell me they had a deal with Bin Laden, and they never intended to catch him in the first place.

Get Bin Laden, dead or alive. unless hes your damn partner.

Could you imagine what the Republicans would be saying/doing if a democrat were president and the man responsible for 9/11 was still at large almost five years post attack?

Don't worry: the administration has bigger fish to fry than Bin Laden:
more tax cuts for the extremely wealthy,
increased opportunities for illegal immigrants to work for low wages and no benefits,
working hand in hand with corporate America to eradicate jobs that pay well for people who have the education and training to do them (remember the "knowledge worker" of the late 1990's), and, who knows,
perhaps that isn't really Ken Lay in that coffin, but some convenient substitute, as Ken and Linda waltz off to a safe haven somewhere in the South Seas, with the super-secret blessings of our most recent 60 year old.

Bin Laden? Who's he?

Maybe it is disinformation.
The New York Times will get a leak from its CIA friends, and blow the cover, again.
