I thought you were going to announce train loads of republicans were moving to SOMA. Is Maddie Halfbright still conviniently Jewish or still conviniently not Jewish? |

Innisowen- Member of the Spelling police? Sorry for my rushed posting! It's amazing when people become "something" they are not in times of election or when in need of public approval or they need to sell books. As did our relatively un-distinguished Sec of State, who apparently just discovered her parents were originally Jewish before book writing time, when she apparently knew about it many years before and didn't acknowledge any Jewish heritage whatsoever. I believe John Kerry also became "Jewish" for a bit in 2004. PS- Could you please check my spelling? Thanks. |

FvF: "It's amazing when people become "something" they are not in times of election or when in need of public approval". Hmmm. Like a Texas rancher rather than a son of a President from Greenwich Connecticut? |

twokitties- I quite agree, Bush is a son of the upperclasses and a faux Texan. I totally don't relate. But he did not acknowledge his Jewish roots (?) to sell some books or get elected. So far. Couldn't we also say John Kerry was the supported husband of a wealthy woman? Is Susan Faludi cool with that? (Hears the strains of David Lee Roth singing " Just a Gigillo" ) |

I saw it, but it's your own fault that some of the others missed it. You dangled an Albright in front of FvF, and it was as if Dr. Pavlov had rung his little bell for the hounds ... |

How, in the History of the World, has it ever been "convenient" to be Jewish? |

I thought Utah was irrelevant to the political left. All those religious Mormons too. To get a real Pavlovian response, hold up a picture of Bush in front of Nohero. Thought you and Cindy were out singing " lo yisa a goy" with Nasrallah my friend. |
