The latest filing, on Thursday, showed Democrats with $37.7 million on hand, compared with $19.9 million for Republicans. If Senate Republicans are unable to close the gap, it will force the Republican National Committee to step in with financial support in tight Senate races — it had $45 million on hand as of Thursday — creating tensions with House Republicans who want that money used to help them.

I forget who said this, but. . .

REPUBLICANS: The party of Bad ideas.

DEMOCRATS: The party of No ideas.

So, get some real leadership, already. I mean, seriously. How the heck could you lose against a draft dodging, cowardly, inarticulate, incompetent man like Bush? Twice?

Start by getting rid of your tired, discredited so-called leaders. Including Clinton, Pelosi, and Reid. For heaven's sake, get some real leadership in there.

Or history will repeat itself. Again.

Notey,
Now you sound like me. All of a sudden its becoming fashionable to point to game day now that you guys could win. You and I finally agree on something, we'll see on election day which is the only day that matters! If you guys do win, it will be fun to see the libs turn into me after years of bashing my style. Of course, I will simply cut and paste all the nonsensical posts that have been used to counter mine stating that winning and losing isn't important it's the issues that matter. Yeah, right. I'm just glad Notey and I finally agree that elections results are by far the most important political consequence that exists. Individual issues pale in comparison to who is making the decision on these individual issues.

I wish good luck to all during this election season. As always, I will accept any results and wish the victors well in their performance for my country whether they are my neo-con brethren or Sheehanlike lefty loonies. In my view of the political world, the sky is never falling. There are always future elections to concentrate on and learn from your mistakes. If I can make it through decades of iron fisted Democratic control of Congress, and you libs can make it through 20 out of 28 years of Republican President's then I think we can survive whoever wins in November. Let's get it on!

No, I just don't mind agreeing with someone I normally disagree with. I don't take this stuff that seriously. I know my views and think they are correct. Therefore, I enjoy the banter. I don't live in a sky is falling world, but, of course, I love reading the anguish in so many posters threads/posts.

Dave, it happens all the time. I think I need to stop wearing this cologne.

Chris asks: How the heck could you lose against a draft dodging, cowardly, inarticulate, incompetent man like Bush? Twice?

If I didn't think that the "results" in both elections were due to vote fraud (mostly in FL in 2000 and OH in 2004), then that would be a helluva good (and painful) question. Even with the vote fraud, the amount of support Bush had was positively dumbfounding. I couldn't believe the number of Bush bumper stickers and signs I saw in NJ two years ago. If I was inclined to believe in an imminent Rapture, I'd swear that the Third Horseman was riding around that year.
