Sounds like something you New Jerseyians should be familiar with. And what's wrong with calling someone gay. That is how my gay friends describe themselves. I guess I'm missing something, but hey, I do love a good campaign.

So you don't see the difference between a person outing themself, as McG did, and falsely calling someone gay for political purposes? I assume you had no problem with the way Bush treated McCain in the primaries in 2000, right? I mean, anything is fine. It's just a game. It'd be ok if I called you a child molester, if it was for political gain, right?

"Good campaign"? You would have had more credibility of you had simply said "I love it" as usual.

And I guess you were jumping up in protest when Dan Rather offerred up phony documents against Bush. Come on Rastro, you can't be that naive. I know you Dems would rather us not fight to your level, but those days of only the Dems fighting dirty are over. And how do you know they aren't gay? Bush has been called all kinds of name and I rarely see proof offered. If this candidate can't stand the heat then he should just call his mommy and go home. You need to look at your own party before you point fingers. As for credibility, who cares. I find 90% of the posters on this board are uncredible.

On a similar note:

Did anyone see and hear Ann Coulter on 'Hardball' tonight? She retracted her comment that Bill Clinton's promiscuity showed latent homosexual tendencies. But she couldn't stop there. Then she said "Al Gore, total f**". When she heard some gasps from the crowd, she claimed it was a 'joke'.

I guess where Ann comes from, that's a totally acceptable way to describe someone. Clearly, she's nothing more that a common self promoter who will say anything to sell a book.

Is she the voice of the Conservative Movement?

It's sad that "outing" a politician as gay carries greater political fallout than discovering he/she is a liar, fraud, adulterer or worse.

About Ann Coulter -- she's vile and I hope the more she talks the more her own constituency ignores her.

She is a great example of the "gee, I wish I had the guts to say that" intellectual vacuity of many American conservatives. It is an active fantasy of many conservatives to break all bounds of "political correctness" (i.e. good manners and tolerance) and wrestle directly with the dark demons of liberalism - be they climate scientists, grieving military moms, or union members.

Most conservatives also like professional wrestling, first person shooter games, and porn for much the same reason.

When the stuff really hits the fan, and your conservative neighbor helps kick in your door and denounces you to the Homeland Security Police, you'll wonder "where did he get those jackboots so fast? The Cheney coup was just yesterday." Well, he had them in his closet all along, just waiting, right next to him Ann Coulter smut.

Southerner

You're not serious with the quote:

"pcs,
It is people like you who watch her that keep her going and keep her rich."

I also watch 'Hardball' when Ed Rogers, Ken Mehlman, George Allen, Bill Frist, Pat Buchanan or Tom DeLay is on the program. That doesn't mean I support their politics, it means I'm open to opposing views.

Rather than blaming me for keeping my ears open, your time would be better spent attacking Ann Coulter's message (unless you agree with it) than in blaming me for watching the program.

Why would I attack her for expressing her opinion? I don't like attacking anyone. I'd much rather simply comment and then watch my side continue to do whatever it wants while your side whines. As for you not taking my post serious, no problem.

The thing is, those republicans on the list are out touting the so-called "family values" (anti-abortion and anti-women) issues.

Gregor, there is nothing to prevent you from creating a similar list. That list was obviously created by Democrats. WHy in the world would they pont out the criminals in their midst? There are plenty of Republicans willing to do that. So make your own list if you think there should be an equivalent one for Democrats. Don't whine that he Democrats aren't doing it for you.

Gregor, you didn't get the point. That's okay. Anyway, if there is a similar compendium of Democrat misdeeds, you're welcome to post it.

Perhaps it contains zingers like, "Robert Kennedy, tree-hugging liberal, is known to DRIVE A CAR and often fails to recycle batteries properly."
