everything should be fine soon...FEMA has finally arrived on the scene. Please check on your neighbors to see if any are showing these signs: Delirium tremens (colloquially, the DTs, "the horrors", "the shakes" or "rum fits") is an acute episode of delirium that is usually caused by withdrawal or abstinence from MOL following habitual excessive posting. Delirium tremens can also appear after a rapid reduction in the amount of message board reading being consumed by heavy users. It only occurs in individuals with a history of constant, long-term MOL consumption. Delirium tremens typically manifests about 18 to 24 hours after discontinuation of MOL consumption, but can appear on the second or third day of abstinence. The main symptoms are confusion and agitation (then again, those seem to be two of the more common symptoms DURING MOL usage too). Other common symptoms include intense hallucinations such as visions of insects, snakes, rats or rightwing nut posters. Help centers have been set up at St. James Gate in Maplewood and Bunny's in South Orange. |
