If even Fox is admitting that Kerry's poll numbers are higher than Bush's numbers, (45% to 44%) you know it looks OK for Kerry right now.

BUT please don't stay home on Election Day!!

The buzz reported by Al Hunt of the WSJ is Kerry is privately 'bouncing off the wall' with his polls going down and that a campaign shake-up is in the works.

The problem is with the candidate, but you can't fire Kerry, I guess. Well.....you can in New Jersey.

As far as Kerry losing ground in the polls, cast a glance at these. They are all within the margin of error, or higher than Bush.

See if you can see where these polls were 3 weeks ago. Almost all had Kerry up at least 5% points compared to where he is now. Nobody is saying Kerry is losing but he has lost a significant amount of ground before the RNC.

If history is a lesson, Kerry should be worried.

Right, so you shouldn't portray things as though Kerry is losing. Losing ground with two months to go, during the opponent's convention week,
and losing are two different things.

Actually, Kerry is now losing in Ohio, Florida, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. He really can't afford to lose any of these swing states.

Tulip.... what is concerning is that he lost ground before the convention started. The polls we see next week could possibly have worse news.

I have heard that it's within the margin of error in Pennsylvania and higher in Iowa, another swing state. Wisconsin is still close. Do you have numbers?
