For Ed May, a college professor and delegate from Maplewood, N.J., the critical moment came with former Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani's speech on Monday. "He was speaking from the heart," Mr. May said.

Mr. May said the convention had made him so confident that he was now predicting a 60-40 landslide for Mr. Bush. "Most of the protesters don't seem to be strongly for Kerry-Edwards," he said. "They're just against a lot of things. But Republicans are very strongly for George Bush and Dick Cheney."

Again Ed speaking from his heart. But from what I heard last night from the major speakers it was mostly what is wrong with Kerry/Edwards and less what was right with Chaney/Bush, sorry.. Dave's fault...Bush/Chaney.

It would be fair to say that at the DNC most of the democrats were for Anyone but Bush. And I think that since this Convention has had the most protests of any convention to date, that speaks to the discontent of more than just a few.

But good for Ed. He is out there..doing his thing, not sitting at home waiting for change. He is trying, in his own way, to help effect it. As he sees it. I strongly disagree with him, but bless his heart for taking the time and energy to get behind his man.

Ducan...I think he has a solid record, he states a vision and works to achieve it, sure he has changed is point of view (nation building for example pre 9/11) but overall he is very consistant.
